The Vidyalaya was established in 1980 and is located in the beautiful area and surrounded by good ambience of Ordnance Factory Itarsi, with lush greenery, about 13 km from Railway station Itarsi. Itarsi is a popular Railway Junction and well connected to all the places, east-west-north and south. Regular bus services are available from Itarsi to Vidyalaya. Vidyalaya is facilitating 1000 students with Science, Commerce and Arts streams. A very beautiful two storied building is under construction and it is expected that the Vidyalaya will be shifted to new building very shortly.

Our Mission

KVS has a four fold mission viz:-  To cater to the educational needs of children of transferable Central Government employees including defence and para military personnel by providing a common programme of education. To pursue excellence and set the pace in the field of school education. To initiate and promote experimentations and innovations in education in collaboration with other bodies like CBSE, NCERT, etc. To develop the spirit of national integration and create a sense of “Indianness” among children.
